Robert Brant

Robert Brant is the Co-head of the firm’s Indigenous Projects and Transactions Group at McCarthy Tétrault, advising on complex matters that involve Indigenous participation, major projects, and cross-border transactions. He was formerly the Managing Partner of McCarthy Tétrault’s London office. He has extensive international experience and a strong network of international contacts.
He also serves as Co-Chair of the Canadian Indigenous Investment Forum, helping shape the Forum’s agenda around practical pathways for partnership and investment readiness. His approach combines commercial precision with a strong understanding of how rights, consent, and governance affect real-world project success.

Mark Magnacca

Mark Magnacca is Co-Chair of the Canadian Indigenous Investment Forum and co-founded the Canadian Indigenous Investment platform to bring Indigenous economic leaders and global capital into the same room. He is known for convening practical conversations focused on long-term partnership, trust, and investable outcomes.
He is also Founder and CEO of gigCMO Ltd., where he leads purpose-driven growth work and programme development. Over the past three years, he has worked alongside the Forum’s leadership to build it into a respected platform where UK and global investors, asset managers, shareholders, and policymakers come together to engage in dialogue, explore opportunities, and share valuable insights.
